Pakistani team announced for the ICC T20 World Cup 2022.

Babar Azam will captain a 15-member Pakistani team for the ICC T20 World Cup 2022, which will take place in Australia from October 16 to November 13, 2022.
Pakistani all-rounder Shadab Khan has been chosen to serve as the team’s vice-captain. Despite pacers Shaheen Afridi and Wasim Junior returning to the lineup, Hasan Ali has been left off.
Shaheen Afridi, a legendary fast bowler, rejoins the team after missing the Asia Cup due to a knee injury. Along with Shaheen, Mohammad Wasim Junior has returned to the T20 lineup following his recovery from a side injury, and Shan Masood has been chosen for the first time in the white ball format.
Shaheen Shah Afridi is expected to start bowling again early next month, according to reports that
Chief Selector Muhammad Wasim has received.
Shaheen is receiving treatment in London right now and will join the team on October 15 in Brisbane.
It’s interesting to note that all-rounder Shadab Khan has been selected the team’s vice-captain.
The Asia Cup roster contained Fakhar Zaman and Shahnawaz Dahani, who were retained as reserves but excluded from the starting lineup. Hasan Ali, who was chosen as a stand-in following many injuries in the bowling division, was not included in the team.
We have a side that can compete well in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022, according to Muhammad Wasim. Practically the same group of players has been a part of the T20I team following the 2021 World Cup in the UAE, we have showed faith and confidence in them.
“Since November 2021, these guys have played effectively, and as a result, we have won nine out of
our past 13 T20Is. We have made investments in these cricket players, it is only right that they be
given the chance to compete in the World Cup, an event for which they have been working hard to
train and prepare.
We had to make sure that these guys had support and continuity, and we have done that.
The ICC reports that all available tickets for Pakistan’s opening match against India at the MCG on
October 23 have been sold.
In Group 2 of the Super 12s, two additional teams from the first round will join Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, and South Africa.
Babar Azam is the captain and Shadab Khan is the vice-captain of Pakistani team for the ICC T20
World Cup. Other players include Asif Ali, Haider Ali, Haris Rauf, Iftikhar Ahmed, Khushdil Shah,
Mohammad Hasnain, Mohammad Nawaz, Mohammad Rizwan, Mohammad Wasim Junior,
